QOS / iBANK ORG.UK — TRIPLE CORE CONCEPT ARCHITECTURE

Triple‑i  ·  III  ·  iBANK 70 ERP  +  17 BANKING  +  24 INVESTMENT BANKING  =  111 MODULES

70 ERP modules, 17 Core Banking modules, and 24 Investment Banking modules routed through one quantum substrate — QOS. Three rings, one core, zero legacy middleware. Every system entangles directly. Every transaction settles in real time.

24 Investment Banking Modules — BALLDINE Engine

Balance · Asset · Liability · Liquidity · Debt & Derivatives · Investment — routing position, risk and cash data across Aladdin, Charles River, Bloomberg, Murex, Calypso, Enfusion, Julia, LISP and SimCorp.

Platform ecosystem

BALLDINE doesn't replace the desk's tools — it reconciles them into one balance sheet routed through the QOS quantum core.

How a module reaches the quantum core

Five layers sit between any of the 111 modules and QOS. Each module keeps its own data model — only the transport and trust layer change.

01
Module Adapter Layer
Each of the 111 modules speaks its native protocol — REST, SOAP, ISO 20022, FIX, internal RPC. A thin adapter normalizes this into a single QOS message envelope without touching the module's internal logic.
02
Quantum Key Distribution Gateway
Every envelope is sealed using keys generated via QKD, secured by the laws of physics rather than computational hardness alone. Post-quantum cryptography (PQC lattice algorithms) protects data at rest across all 111 modules.
03
Entanglement Routing Mesh
Messages route over entangled qubit pairs pre-distributed across the mesh — removing hop-count latency from inter-module communication between ERP, banking, and investment banking rings entirely.
04
QOS Core — Orchestration & Settlement
The core validates, sequences, and settles each transaction, holding one consistent ledger state across all 111 connected modules in real time. Three rings — one source of truth.
05
Observability & Compliance Plane
Every channel event is logged for audit, AML, regulatory reporting (MiFID II, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, Basel IV) — visible to compliance teams without ability to alter settled records.
What "quantum-connected" means here
QKD
Key distribution, not key storage
Quantum Key Distribution generates session keys via entangled photon pairs. Any interception attempt disturbs the quantum state and is detectable — the channel itself reveals tampering.
PQC
Post-quantum cryptography at rest
Data at rest across all 111 modules is encrypted with lattice-based PQC algorithms, so stored records remain protected even against a future cryptographically-relevant quantum computer.
QPU
Optimization, not transaction processing
Quantum processors handle combinatorial problems — liquidity routing, settlement netting, XVA calculation, fraud-pattern search — while transaction throughput stays on classical infrastructure today.
HYBRID
Classical core, quantum edge
QOS itself runs on classical infrastructure now, with quantum components at the edges. The architecture is forward-compatible as quantum hardware matures — no rearchitecting required.
